An hour to find out how you are together in front of a camera, long before it matters.
The engagement session is not really about the photographs, though the photographs are usually good. It is about the fact that almost nobody is comfortable being photographed, and the first twenty minutes of discomfort are much better spent on a Tuesday evening in a park than at eleven in the morning on your wedding day.
We walk. There is no pose list. By the end of it we know that one of you hates their left side and the other laughs when they are nervous, and on the wedding day we already know where to stand.

Engagement — questions
Is it deducted if we then commission the wedding?
It is credited in full against a wedding or destination wedding commission booked within a year. We would rather meet you first, and this is the least awkward way to arrange that.
What should we wear?
Whatever you would wear to dinner somewhere you like. We will send a short note about colour and texture once we know the location, and it is advice rather than a uniform.
Tell us the date and the place.
We reply to every enquiry personally, usually within two business days. We take a limited number of commissions each year, and we would rather say so now than manage a waiting list.
