No blog post, no portfolio entry, no social post, no submission to a publication. Your wedding is private by default and stays private unless you write to say otherwise. A non-disclosure agreement is signed on request and at no cost.

Wedding photography in Puglia
We photograph weddings and elopements across Puglia — masserie around Fasano and Savelletri, the white towns of Ostuni and Locorotondo in the Valle d’Itria, the harbour at Monopoli and the baroque limestone of Lecce.
Puglia is what couples choose when they have looked at a hundred Tuscan weddings and want theirs not to resemble them. The light is harder, the walls are white rather than ochre and the land is flat, which produces a set with more contrast and a cleaner palette.
Puglia looks nothing like the Italy of Como or Tuscany, and that is why it is on this list. It is flat, dry and white — fortified farmhouses of whitewashed stone in groves of olive trees centuries old, under a sky that is bigger and a sun that is harder than anywhere further north. The palette is limestone, silver-green and deep blue, and it is one of the cleanest backdrops in Europe.
The masseria is the form. A working estate with a courtyard at the centre, thick walls, cool dark rooms and a terrace that gets the whole of the evening, taken over entirely for a weekend. It gives you what Tuscany gives you at a fraction of the crowding, and it photographs sharper because the light is harder and the walls throw it back.
The heat in July and August is the serious constraint. This is the south, it is dry, and the middle of the day is for the inside of the building. Everything of consequence happens after six.

A small pebble cove between limestone cliffs, crossed by an old bridge, with the town built on the rock above. Crowded in the day; early morning is calm and evenly lit.

Lanes of whitewashed trulli with conical stone roofs. Best at first light before the shops open, when the white walls are soft rather than glaring.

Blue fishing boats against pale stone walls and the castle. Good at sunrise and in the soft light after sunset.

A white town on a hill above the groves, pedestrian and stepped. Late light turns the lime render gold for a short while and then it is over.

An enclosed baroque square of honey-coloured limestone. The stone turns warm in the last light, and the square is calm late in the evening.

When it helps, we can arrive early to see it at ceremony hour; that is agreed per inquiry. A second photographer or a welcome dinner can be added, travel is quoted at cost, itemised, and exact pricing comes in reply to your inquiry.
The day here has a genuine two-part structure, and we photograph it as two different films. The afternoon is interior — deep shade, thick walls, stone — because outside between ten and six in July is not workable for anyone. The evening is exterior and runs until eleven. A schedule that pretends the middle of the day is usable produces photographs of people squinting.

How far in advance should we book?

Do you photograph intimate weddings and elopements?
Yes — often. An elopement or a wedding of a dozen guests gets the same care as a large one, with coverage from €850 for one to two hours and help choosing the places and the hour.
Can you photograph weddings at our venue?
Almost certainly. We work at venues across Puglia and beyond, and if we have not photographed yours we plan it from the light, the layout and the timeline before the day. Tell us the venue when you check your date.
Do you travel outside Puglia?
Yes. We photograph weddings across Italy, the rest of Europe and the United States. Travel is quoted separately, itemised and at cost, so you can see exactly what it adds.
How many photographs will we receive?
It depends on the day rather than the clock: a full day usually comes to several hundred edited photographs, an elopement fewer. We do not set a minimum, because a number becomes a target — everything worth keeping is delivered.
When will we receive our gallery?
A preview within seven days, then the complete edited gallery within eight weeks for a wedding and four weeks for an elopement, with high-resolution downloads and personal printing rights.
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes. A short agreement and a booking deposit reserve your date, and the deposit is part of the total, not added to it. The balance is due before the wedding.
What happens if the weather changes?
We plan a covered alternative for the portraits with you before the day and adapt the timing on the day itself. Soft rain and cloud can make beautiful photographs; nobody is sent out into a storm.
